HIGHLIGHTS A pallet adhesive that may be hand-applied directly to the pallet is called D-Tack. D-tack is absolutely non-hazardous because it is water-based and contains no solvents or other dangerous components. With virtually no mess or waste, 1 quart of D-Tack can replace up to 3 dozen 16oz cans of spray adhesive. D-Tack can sustain repeated flashes without losing its tack and is heat stable up to 700 degrees (F). TIPS After cleaning the treatment area, apply DTACK with a roller, spray, or brush. Use at full strength or dilute with one part water to one part product. Apply in a rapid, smooth “S†pattern to the entire area when utilizing a spray application. Use an electric spray gun, an air-powered spray system, or a hand-held spray bottle to mist. Or use a squeegee to apply directly to the pallet.
