Catalyst increases chemical/mechanical resistances of photo-emulsions. Suitable for long running productions. The catalyzed photo-emulsion may not be reclaimed anymore. APPLICATION Note: SCREEN-CHEM CATALYST SPECIAL is an acid solution, so it is recommended to use the appropriate Individual Protection Devices. Work with screens engraved and well dried. On the perfectly dry emulsion, using a sponge or a soft brush apply the catalyst over the entire surface of the screens, completely and uniformly on both sides. To prevent mesh clogging blow with compressed air the open parts of the design. Leave the screens to dry horizontally at room temperature for five/ten minutes. Catalyzed screens can be used after 12 hours drying at room temperature. If oven-dried at 50°C for at least 60 minutes it’s possible to use the screen immediately.
